About the Logo

The logo of the Philippine Forestry Development Forum consists of geometric shapes enclosed in a circle. This signifies the fundamental harmony within the forest ecosystem that needs to be maintained.

Three Triangles, set in ascending order and mounted on rectangles, represent two ideas. As tree symbols, they stand for sustainable forest management, based on scientific planting and harvesting of trees. As upward-pointing arrows, they indicate the growth that a well-managed forestry sector can contribute to the Philippine economy.

The Sun represents the benefits that accrue to the entire population and ecosystem.
